"Los Guardiola" is a multidisciplinary show of 7 ½ breathtaking and playful scenes in which the internationally renowned tango artists Los Guardiola lead you into their fantasy world of "TangoTeatro", where tragedy, comedy, poetry and humour collide.
Drawing from their expertise in commedia dell’arte, mime and Argentine tango, Los Guardiola use the universal and timeless language of movement to tell stories inspired by the world’s best-loved tangos.
Like a fairground carousel, the different faces of the soul of tango and characters from our endless human comedy – along with their loves, vices and virtues – pass before our very eyes…
A mime and dance tribute to silent movies, the show has been on the bill non-stop in Parisian theaters for 8 years, with a huge success.

Inspired by the tango “ A Media Luz ” (In a Soft Light), “La Garconnière” takes place on a cube that metaphorically represents the “bulín”, the famous apartment of lovers’ rendezvous located at number 348 of Corrientes Avenue, in Buenos Aires. A small “artificial paradise” that turns, because of worldly vices, into a real nightmare.
